Resume

I am a teacher of English ,  National and Kapodistrian University of Athensgraduate, with a postgraduate specialization in Pedagogy from the University of West Attica. Since August 2022, I have been a Ph.D. candidate. I specialize in teaching English to students with dyslexia, having developed an innovative teaching method based on the principles of multisensory instruction.

Since 2020, I have been the owner of the flagship language learning center “Teaching Brightly By Vicky Kaperoni” in Peristeri, the only center in the Western Suburbs specializing in teaching foreign languages to students with dyslexia. I am also the author of the first English textbook designed for dyslexic students learning English as a foreign language, set to be published in April 2024 by Butterfly Publishing.

Since January 2022, I have been actively participating in conferences across Greece and abroad, while also delivering lectures aimed at informing and raising awareness among parents and educators on the subject of dyslexia. Through the specialized training program I have curated in collaboration with the British human resources certification body NOCN, I have trained and guided over 1,000 English teachers in teaching English to students with dyslexia.
Since August 2023, I have been certified as an NLP Practitioner, and in November 2023, I participated in the Job Ready by DYPA event, invited by DYPA Peristeri, with the workshop titled “Counseling and Entrepreneurship – Presentation of a Best Practice,” which was highly successful. Recently, I completed my training as a Professional Life Coach, aiming to assist individuals seeking guidance on how to turn their ideas into businesses.
